  • In 2009 I embarked on a personal project to create a tool that enabled designers to present website concepts easily to clients.

    The result was a smart tool that lets you upload and share various types of images with your clients and coleagues.

    Built from the ground up using PHP, the site www.prevue.it is due to launch in early 2010 but is already in use by several London-based design agencies.

Your projects and prevues

The idea is simple, you show website concepts to your clients and colleagues in the environment they are designed to be contained... a browser. The application allows you to upload a main image and a background image, and define the styling attributes to that page (margin etc).

Once uploaded, the user can group, organize, annotate and share their specific project.

The application can also be used as a mini-portfolio, or even as a tool to share the odd image

An individual project

When the designer has uploaded their project, they can re-order the pages, add notes then share the single project with their client.

It's a tool built by a designer, for designers - and was created to be simple, fast and intuitive. Due for release early 2010
