In 2010, having spent years trying to find a good way to present digital designs to my clients, I began building my own app that would do just that. Prevue
The result was a smart tool that allows users to upload and share designs with their clients and colleagues through a clean and professional interface.
Launched publicly in March 2011, the app now serves as the private presentation tool to thousands of designers all over the world.- +
The idea is simple, you show website concepts to your clients and colleagues in the environment they are designed to be contained... a browser.
Once uploaded, the user can group, organise, protect, annotate and share their specific project in an uncluttered interface that shows off the work, rather than the brand
All accounts come with the ability to share membership with others, and offers rewards for doing so.
Prevue was also a good opportunity for me to test UI elements such as this oversized 'space used' bar
Although Prevue primarily facilitates a private conversation between designer and client, users can opt to turn their entire library into a clean and professional portfolio.
Portfolios come complete with social tools, their own logo and contact page
